From the moment I called, the woman who answered the phone was courteous, kind, sympathetic, and informative. We required emergency service. She explained the possible issues and assured us that the repair was routine. Then, PJ arrived within 2 hours. PJ was a gentleman who was a complete professional with a kind heart. He worked on repairing our boiler as if we were a family member. He educated me on what the problem was and offered solutions as to how to avoid it in the future.

We had no heat in our newly purchased house, I was thinking here goes a new furnace... I knew of a number of issues; air in the lines, one of the pumps wasn't working, little leaks in the system. The guys came buy (same day I called and at 8pm) fixed and bled everything, found issues I didn't know and didn't charge me any extra for any of it, just the service call... We have used other people who have cheap service calls and everything else is a ton extra, it's great to have a company we trust in town.

We received an oil delivery and since apparently we were so low on oil, the burner would not start and it was freezing. After trying to re-set a couple of times, we called the oil delivery company back and were told we probably needed the lines bled but they couldn't come. After calling several burner service companies, we finally landed on George Hafner. When we called, they were nice, friendly, detailed and said they'd be over between 2:30pm - 4:30pm. They arrived less than an hour later, diagnosed the job (busted fuel pump) and changed it efficiently & quickly as we had to go to the hospital to visit a sick relative. I'm definitely adding George Hafner to my list of trusted home repair vendors.

Oil burner not turning on. Called and they said 2 hrs received a call with in 1/2 hr and he was here within 1/2 hr. Needed a new pump. Reasonably priced and he was done with in an hour. Danny was professional and pleasant. I can't thank you enough. Will be using you you guys again for our yearly tune up

My oil burner was working sporadically on Saturday, and finally stopped working completely on Sunday. I tried changing the filter and nozzle to no avail and determined the flow of oil from the tank was restricted. It was now 9 PM on Sunday so I called George Hafner Oil Burner Service. Within about a half hour, Danny showed up and diagnosed a particularly stubborn blockage. He used the CO2 gun a few times, but finally determined it needed to have some Hot Shot pumped back into the line to dissolve the gunk.

Danny was happy to have me hanging over his shoulder (I like to know how things work) and explained what he was doing to resolve the issue.

I really appreciated the methodical diagnosis from one part of the burner to the next in order to eliminate potential blockage points. Within an hour I was up and running with my heat and hot water!

Called on a monday night around 7 and a tech was at my house within the hour . He Quickly found the issue And was able to fix it .

We've been using them for our boiler for almost 10 years. They came at the recommendation of the guy we bought our house from. Always friendly and arrived quickly whenever we had an emergency. Over the years they've replaced our boiler and lines and have always been happy with their service. I recommend them to everyone in our area.

1:00 AM found quarter inch of water all over the boiler room....I knew what it was. The hot water tank was old and finally rusted through. up 'til 2:30 with wet vac and towels etc...8:00 AM I called Hafner. Linda was direct and polite... they asked for photos over text to speed things along. The team was able to come in very short order. By 11:30AM I kid you not they removed and replaced everything. Reasonable cost. I would hire them again.

Positive experience with a routine cleaning/tune-up/vacuuming for a home oil heating system and separate hot water heater. They provided excellent and timely customer service. One of the best services organization I had the pleasure of working with. My old furnace was not working and it was very cold night. The service person came the time they promised and solved my issue right.

I called at 7:45 pm on a Sunday night and a service man was at the door in less than an hour. He was done replacing a bad expansion tank and valve in a half hour. I'm grateful to use a local business and not the Star Energy/Petro mob. And yes, the woman on the phone was a little short. Whatever. Still got someone to the house quickly!

Last Friday I had a serious situation with my Burner. I called my company of 25 years. They said the earliest they could come was 3 days??? I advised them I was no longer a customer and called George Hafner Oil Burner Service. I had a guy PJ over in 1/12 hours. He fixed my burner explained everything he was doing and worked clean. They have a new customer. My old company, beginning with SL will never get my business again.

i was having a problem with my burner. i was getting heat in 2 out of my 3 zones.. i called the first company that came up near me and i called. They said they could come tomm but i had plans for tomm. so i called back to make an appointment for monday, and they said they can send someone tonight between 6-10 pm. They were very courteous on the phone and the service man showed up before 7:30. The serviceman, sorry didn't get names but was very courteous and i was pleased and i now have heat. thank you, would definitely recommend George Hafner For any oil burner problems!!

I called them about my boiler shooting soot out of the vents. They came right over within an hour and cleaned my vent and boiler and replace the needed parts. I had the service tech Ryan do the work. I called George Hafner to have my mother's burner fixed since she was in Florida at the time. she had a service contract with another company and was told the burner needs to be changed and the cost should be approximately $7000. I was told the burner was smoking and not safe to put on. I called George and he said the smoke is most likely coming from dirty furnace that needs to be cleaned and not needing a new burner. I then checked and although I paid another company to clean the burner was not done and filthy. Burner got cleaned after I complained and unit put on. Not smoking, worked great!!!. I am glad I personally spoke with George who I never spoke to in the past- saved me $7000. Honest. wow, very pleased.

Used their service for the first time. Service man was quick, efficient and knowledgable. I would definitely use his service next time if I had another problem with the boiler.

Noticed that the house was cold after dinner and realized that the burner was down. Called at 6:30pm and they said someone would be there by 8pm. Tech showed up 2 mins early and identified the issue as a clogged fuel line. He took care of the line and changed all the filters and within 30 minutes I was good to go. Couldn't have asked for a more professional service guy!
